The problem
What needed solving.
Small shop owners had no clear daily record of sales, stock movement, and expenses. Decisions about restocking and pricing were made from memory, and losses were only noticed long after they happened.
Approach
What was built.
- Designed a sales-first screen so recording a sale takes fewer taps than writing it in a book.
- Built stock tracking that updates from sales rather than requiring a separate count.
- Added daily totals, item-level history, and expense capture in one view.
- Kept the app light and tolerant of intermittent connectivity.
