Busara Digital ("Busara Digital", "we", "us", or "our") provides Sala Katoliki, an offline-first Catholic prayer application for personal devotion. The app includes prayers, Rosary guidance, novenas, favorites, search, reading settings, and optional local daily reminders in English and Kiswahili.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Sala Katoliki through our mobile application and related policy pages.
Sala Katoliki is designed to work without account registration, cloud sync, advertising, subscriptions, or required internet access for core prayer features.

Sala Katoliki stores limited app information locally on your device so that the app can work offline and remember your preferences. This may include:
This information remains on your device. Busara Digital does not receive this local app information through a backend server. Deleting the app, clearing app storage, or resetting your device may permanently remove locally stored app data.
Sala Katoliki may request notification-related permissions only when you choose to enable prayer reminders. Reminders are controlled by you and can be enabled, changed, or disabled in the app settings.
On Android, the app may request or declare permissions for notifications, scheduling reminders at the selected time, restoring reminders after device restart, and vibration. These permissions are used only for local prayer reminders and not for marketing, tracking, advertising, or remote push messages.
Sala Katoliki may allow you to share a prayer using your device's share sheet. Sharing is initiated and controlled by you. Busara Digital does not receive a copy of the prayer you share or the recipient you choose.
If you contact Busara Digital by phone, WhatsApp, email, or another support channel, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, contact details, message, device details, screenshots, or app issue description.
We use support information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve the app, and maintain records where reasonably necessary.
These policy pages may be hosted using Firebase Hosting, GitHub Pages, or a future official Busara Digital website. When you access these web pages, the hosting provider may process basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, and server logs as part of normal web hosting operations.
This website hosting activity is separate from the offline operation of the Sala Katoliki mobile app.
Sala Katoliki does not use third-party services for account login, cloud data sync, analytics, advertising, payment processing, or user profiling in the current release.
The app may rely on operating-system services, app store distribution, and local notification functionality to provide reminders and normal mobile app behavior.
Sala Katoliki is currently provided free of charge. The current release does not process payments, subscriptions, advertising, or paid partnership ads.
Busara Digital may introduce optional donations in the future to support app growth and maintenance. If donations are introduced, this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service, and relevant app store disclosures will be updated as needed.
Busara Digital does not sell, rent, or trade personal user data from Sala Katoliki.
We may disclose information only when required by law, regulation, court order, lawful government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, Busara Digital, or the public.
Because Sala Katoliki stores app preferences and progress locally, you are responsible for keeping your device secure. We recommend using device-level security features such as screen lock where available.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Local app information remains on your device until you change it, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or reset your device.
Since Sala Katoliki does not currently provide user accounts or cloud sync, there is no in-app account deletion process. To remove local app data, you may delete the app or clear app storage through your device settings.
Support messages you send to us may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support records, and comply with applicable obligations.
Sala Katoliki is suitable for general audiences, but it is primarily intended for users over 13 years of age. Users under 13 should use the app with guidance from a parent, guardian, catechist, teacher, or responsible adult.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through account registration or backend services.
Sala Katoliki may be available to users in Tanzania and other countries. If you access our policy pages or contact support from outside Tanzania, your communication may be processed where our hosting, email, or communication providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, operational updates, donations if introduced, or improved privacy practices.
Updated policies will be made available through app store listings, in-app links, or our policy website.
